ABOUT
"Androboy" is a name my brother came up for me way-back when. Since then, I've used it for my account name on (2..3..4.. 5? no, more than that letssee...) alot of websites. If you look up "Androboy" on Google, MOST (not all) of the top results are mine. "Androboy Inc." is another story.
In grade 7 I had to do an F.I.E. (Final Instrumental Exam), and one of the requirements of this F.I.E. (among other things) was to have an imaginary company name. I used "Androboy Inc." for obvious reasons and continued to use that name from then on. For the F.I.E. I was told to write a book. I had been trying to do so for some time with my "Terra-Centrals Humanoids" idea. Now that I had a motive, I made the website (http://tch31.tripod.com) and finished the book.
Jealous of other books, movies, T.V. shows, etc. having their own Message Boards, I decided to make my own! Searched it on Google... "Pay now!"... "Must be 18 years of age or older to obtain this"... hours went by... then I came across "Proboards - Free Message Boards!" Angels sung. I signed up... "Sorry, but in order to make this free it will come with banners." Big deal - Tripod, my website host, said that anyway! "Sorry, but in order to keep it free you cannot store images on this forum"... drat. How was I supposed to get pictures on here? Looked up "Free image host"... "Image Shack! Free image host!" - Couldn't edit my pictures... "Ripway! Free file host!" - it was too good to be true. The name struck me with an ominous tone though... Then one day, all the pictures were gone! Went to ripway, "Account de-activated" it said. Sent an e-mail off... got one back the next day. "Your account has been re-activated. Please sign in once a month to keep it activated."
Wow. That was an adventure...
So what is this "company"? Well, its a company consisting of over half... half a kid! Buisness is exciting and hands-on! Whoopie! I don't get paid, but I don't pay either!
The "Projects" section is one I devised to put my homework where my teachers can easily access them. I don't delete them because they bring back memories and might count for something someday.
The "Humour" section is one I put together from all the funny e-mails I received. A counter-part for it might be coming out soon called "Awe and Aww" where I put all the cute, exciting, amazing, and love-oriented e-mails that I didn't decide to delete-upon receiving.
